Ibiza is well known for its hippie, street, food and second-hand goods markets. Some markets take place throughout the year although most take place during the summer season.
Have you heard of the famous hippy market in Ibiza? It is one of the most important attractions of the island and is a must for any summer visitor. However, it is not the only flea market you can visit, there are many other markets around the island, so no matter where you stay, you can always enjoy a great shopping day.

NIGHT MARKET OF LAS DALIAS
Soak up the hustle and bustle of this evocative street market, the Las Dalias restaurant and entertainment venue are still a meeting point for the contemporary hippy. Its specialties include clothing and artisan costume jewelery. Often with live music.
MERCADILLO HIPPY DE LAS DALIAS
It is not only at night, during the day you can not miss it. After the hippy market of Punta Arabí is the second largest, with a fantastic offer of fashion and costume jewelery, many handmade by local artists and designers, as well as many other crafts such as leather goods and paintings. Enjoy the mime performances, the Moroccan tea shop, the live music and the exotic atmosphere of Las Dalias, still today it is still one of the most important meeting points of the island for bohemian hippies.
There are several bars that offer drinks and natural juices and the Las Dalias restaurant serves delicious meals on the shaded ivy-covered terrace. It is better to go early to avoid crowds.
HIPPY MARKET OF PUNTA ARABÍ
The genuine and the greatest! Innumerable stalls are grouped under the shade of the pines between the different winding paths that surround the white bungalows. This market is full of articles from around the world, many of them handmade. Definitely, a day to ‘buy until burst’!
There is even an area for children where they can make their own market souvenir; There are several bars and restaurants offering food and drinks, and the drums and live music further enliven the atmosphere.

SAN RAFAEL’S ARTISAN MARKET
A fantastic weekly market with ceramic of traditional and contemporary designs, as well as other products made by artisans. It is the only place on the island named area of crafts interest. There is even fruit from local farmers.
MERCADILLO DE SANT JORDI – SECOND-HAND MARKET
Preferred among residents, you can buy practically everything second-hand: books, clothes, jewelry, plants, furniture … or have a fun time checking what people can get to have. A very cosmopolitan atmosphere with a bar that offers drinks and snacks. At noon, percussionists meet with their bongos in the stands of the enclosure and some incredible jam sessions are organized.
