Ibiza’s Magical Sunset Spots
Ibiza’s west coast has more than just a few special areas to catch a sunset. It is home to some of the most unique places that you can watch day turn into night.
If you mention a trip to Ibiza there are a few things that spring into mind, but we can argue that here on the White Isle you can catch some of the best sunsets in the Mediterranean. There are plenty of areas on the coastline that you can pitch up for your own private experience but these are some of the top spots to enjoy a classic Ibiza sunset.
Café Del Mar
The best Ibiza sunset – often duplicated but never replicated!
Bringing to you an unforgettable experience, Café Del Mar is the place to be on San Antonio’s sunset strip. Fresh and delicious food, homemade artisan cocktails and decadent music to soothe the soul. The long serving Ibiza establishment sure does entice the crowds. After the sun disappears, Café Del Mar is home to the pre-parties of some of the most famous club nights on the island.
Described as the last paradise in Ibiza, Sunset Ashram is the jewel of the crown on Cala Conta beach.
The whitest sands and the bluest waters await you at one of the most beautiful beaches of Ibiza. Sunset Ashram sits majestically above the shore with a casual beach bar and more sophisticated restaurant. You can enjoy cold-pressed juices, pizza, seafood, cocktails and much more here as you watch the sun go down.
The authentic place to see the sun go down to the beat of the drum on this northern beach with the hippies of Ibiza.
A Sunday tradition for many on the island is a visit to Benirras to be a part of the drumming ritual held here all year round. Elements Beach Club features an artisan market and plenty of great options for food and drink after you have danced with the sand under your feet to the mystical music.
Las Puertas del Cielo
Translating to the “doors to the sky” this is a secret Ibiza sunset spot that will take your breath away.
If you like a little bit of adventure, and you don’t want to enjoy your Ibiza sunset surrounded by other people then this could be the spot for you. Hidden in the hills of Santa Agnes, amongst the pine forests, this is a very different and special place to enjoy 180-degree views of the glittering sea below the burning orange sun.
These seductive scenic spots can get busy during high season in Ibiza, so we advise to plan your sunset ahead of time and book in advance.
